Diese hochkompetitive Individualf\u00f6rderung \u201cFONDECYT\u201d (Fondo Nacional de Ciencia y Tecnolog\u00eda) der chilenischen Wissenschaftsagentur ANID finanziert das Projekt, das sich mit neuen Ans\u00e4tzen zur Behandlung von Neuroinflammation, basierend auf therapeutischen extrazellul\u00e4ren Vesikeln, besch\u00e4ftigt.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Neuroinflammation ist ein pathologisches Merkmal einer Vielzahl von neurologischen Erkrankungen (Alzheimer, Parkinson) und neuropsychiatrischen Erkrankungen wie Schizophrenie und Depression, kann aber auch von \u00e4u\u00dferlichen Faktoren ausgel\u00f6st werden. Bekannte Trigger sind unter anderem Traumata, Alter, Luftverschmutzung, chronischer Alkoholmissbrauch, fettreiche Ern\u00e4hrung, bakterielle Infektion oder SARS-CoV-2. In diesem Projekt ist die FH Technikum Wien (FHTW) ein aktiver Kollaborationspartner. Im Forschungsschwerpunkt \u201e<a href=\"https:\/\/www.technikum-wien.at\/forschung\/forschungsschwerpunkte-und-projekte\/tissue-engineering-molecular-life-science-technologies\/\">Tissue Engineering &amp; Molecular Life Science Technologies<\/a>\u201c wird zusammen mit Studierenden an der Identifikation von spezifischen Membrankomponenten von Vesikeln gearbeitet. Das Projekt \u00f6ffnet zahlreiche M\u00f6glichkeiten f\u00fcr Bachelor- und Masterstudierende ihre Abschlussarbeiten im Bereich von therapeutischen Vesikeln an der Universidad del Desarrollo (Chile) zu absolvieren. Diese Kollaboration erweitert den hohen Grad der Internationalisierung im Bereich des Life Science Engineerings an der FHTW.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Die Universidad del Desarrollo liegt an der Stadtgrenze Santiagos auf rund 1000 H\u00f6henmetern in den chilenischen Anden. 2022 wurde das neue Geb\u00e4ude der medizinischen Fakult\u00e4t er\u00f6ffnet, das unter anderem das \u201eInstitut f\u00fcr medizinische Forschung und Innovation\u201c beherbergt.
