In Kooperation mit dem \u00d6sterreichischen Bibliothekenverbund erfolgte in einem etwa 9-monatigen Prozess die Umstellung auf das neue Bibliotheks-System ALMA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>ALMA ist eine cloudgest\u00fctzte Service-Plattform, die neben gedruckten auch elektronische Medien in einer gemeinsamen Oberfl\u00e4che verwaltet. In der zweiten J\u00e4nnerh\u00e4lfte erfolgte schlie\u00dflich das Go-Live des neuen Bibliothek-Systems und der neuen Version der Suchmaschine PRIMO.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Das neue User Interface in PRIMO garantiert auch auf mobilen Endger\u00e4ten eine optimale Anzeige. Durch die verbesserte Oberfl\u00e4che gestalten sich etwa die Recherche und das Managen des eigenen Profils erheblich leichter.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ein zweiter Schwerpunkt der Bibliothek w\u00e4hrend des gesamten Jahres 2020 war der Ausbau der elektronischen Ressourcen. Damit soll gew\u00e4hrleistet werden, dass die Studierenden und MitarbeiterInnen trotz der Pandemie Zugang zu einer m\u00f6glichst breiten Palette an Medien haben.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Die FH Technikum Wien hat nun bereits mehr als 10.000 eBooks im Angebot, allein im Jahr 2020 kamen mehr als 2.500 aktuelle Titel hinzu.
