The UASTW\u2019s&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.technikum-crowd.at\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">crowd campaign<\/a>&nbsp;was one of six category winners among 92 submitted projects at the PR Gala 2019 held by the Publc Relations Association Austria and the Federal Ministry for Digital and Economic Affairs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201e\u2018One of 1000\u2018 ist ein spendenbasiertes Crowdfunding-Projekt, welches mehr Studienpl\u00e4tze f\u00fcr High-Potentials generieren soll und gegen die Verschwendung von Talenten vorgeht\u201c, erkl\u00e4rt Gabriele K\u00f6ltringer, Gesch\u00e4ftsf\u00fchrerin der FH Technikum Wien. Au\u00dferdem sollte in der \u00d6ffentlichkeit ein Bewusstsein f\u00fcr die Problematik der Studienplatzfinanzierung geschaffen werden.<br>\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<div data-block=\"video\" data-reference=\"8903\" class=\"wp-block-ovl-video\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The campaign was accompanied by internal communication, classic media work, online and social media activities as well as communications with stakeholders, and primarily addressed the families of applicants, UASTW graduates and companies experiencing a shortage of skilled employees \u2013 with such companies as Siemens, Schrack-Seconet, Kapsch-Group, Iteratec, Signon \u00d6sterreich, Axians ICT Austria, Kloeckner Metals, Sawczynski &amp; Partner, Gebauer &amp; Griller, Electro-Terminal, Liebherr, ZKW, Team Communication Technology on board as donors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The successful campaign raised a total of around \u20ac 150,000 in 2019 and made it possible for eight more students to study at the UAS Technikum Wien. \u201cWe are delighted to receive this prestigious award for our digital crowd-funding campaign. It shows that the UAS Technikum Wien is actively tackling such problems as the shortage of skilled employees and that, with a little courage and out-of-the-box thinking, it is also possible for society to benefit,\u201d Gabriele K\u00f6ltringer said. \u201cIt is precisely for this reason that the FEEI [Association of the Austrian Electrical and Electronics Industries] created the UAS Technikum Wien 25 years ago. It makes me happy to see that this pioneering spirit is still lived today at the UAS Technikum Wien with activities such as this and that the FEEI is able to participate in them as the founder,\u201d
