The new library system and the new version of the PRIMO search engine finally went live in the second half of January.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The new user interface in PRIMO guarantees optimum presentations on mobile devices as well. The improved interface makes researching and managing one\u2019s own profile much easier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Another aspect that the library focused on throughout 2020 was the expansion of electronic resources. The measures were initiated for the purposes of ensuring that students and staff were still able to access the widest possible range of media in spite of the restrictions imposed as a result of the pandemic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">UAS Technikum Wien has now already made more than 10,000 e-books available \u2013 with more than 2,500 current titles being added in 2020 alone.
