The BIP was developed and launched together with Lapland University of Applied Sciences<\/a> and Fontys University of Applied Sciences<\/a> in 2022 and took place for the second time. The goal of the Blended Intensive Programme was to find possible solutions to current challenges in areas such as agriculture, infrastructure, transport, healthcare or the workplace.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After a kick off in February, which included a short-term mobility to Lapland UAS, students from the three institutions met, formed teams and developed their project topics. With workshops on Morobot, node-red and machine learning, the foundations for the projects were formed. Team-building tasks and excursions during the week in Rovaniemi helped the team members to get to know each other and the culture of Northern Finland better. The project work continued online during the semester and was completed on site at the UAS Technikum Wien in May.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In Vienna, students could complete projects togethe<\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong><\/strong>r<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

During the week in Vienna, the students were able to complete their projects together and present them to a jury on Friday. In addition to the project work, a tour of the Digital Factory as well as leisure activities such as a city tour of Vienna and a joint dinner were organised.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

A Blended Intensive Programme is a combination of short-term mobility and online teaching. It allows students to work in international project groups and gain intercultural experience in addition to academic knowledge, especially if long-term mobility in the form of a semester or internship abroad is not practicable for students.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

finalise their projects.
