While photovoltaics on smaller areas and in the private sector are very much in demand, interest in the topic of small wind power is also growing. The FFG-funded research project <a href=\"https:\/\/www.technikum-wien.at\/forschungsprojekte\/smallwind4cities\/\">SmallWind4Cities<\/a>, which has been running since 2021, deals with the integration of small wind turbines in built-up areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">At the BIOEM &#8220;Bio.Energie.Messe&#8221; 2023 in Gro\u00dfsch\u00f6nau, Lower Austria, those responsible for the project presented the turbine installed in the project from May 30 to June 3 and at the same time were able to ask a wide range of interested people about the topic of small wind power.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ovl-full-width-image ovl-fullWidthImage\" data-block=\"fullwidthimage\" data-height=\"550px\" data-caption=\"\" data-showcaption=\"false\" data-objectfit=\"contain\" data-use-aspect-ratio=\"false\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"ovl-fullWidthImage__image\"
