The world’s largest conference for photovoltaic research, EU PVSEC<\/a>, recently offered a unique platform for the presentation of the latest technologies and innovations in the field of solar power generation for the 40th time in Lisbon. Taras Sheremet<\/a> (Master graduate Renewable Energy<\/a>) and Momir Tabakovic<\/a> (Competence Field Leader Renewable Energy Technologies und Climate-fit Buildings and Districts<\/a>) got the opportunity to present their findings in the field of photovoltaic research.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

EU PVSEC<\/a> (European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference and Exhibition) is the largest international conference on photovoltaic research, technology and applications and also a photovoltaic industry exhibition. Well-known representatives of the PV industry presented technologies, innovations and new concepts in the PV sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Accelerate penetration of the global renewable energy market with BIPV products<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Momir Tabakovic is also the national coordinator of IEA PVPS Task 15<\/a>, which aims to create a framework to accelerate the penetration of BIPV (building integrated photovoltaic system) products in the global renewable energy market, so that there is a level playing field for BIPV products, BAPV products and conventional building envelope components. And this will be done by taking into account mandatory aspects, aesthetic issues, reliability and financial aspects.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The trip of Taras Sheremet and Momir Tabakovic was supported by the Faculty of Industrial Engineering<\/a> and International Office<\/a>, as well as through the IEA PVPS Task 15 project<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
