We are therefore delighted that our graduate Mr. Gabriel Hochmeister was awarded the <a href=\"https:\/\/service.ove.at\/schalterforschung\/preis.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Prof. Werner Rieder Prize<\/a> for Switch Design for his master&#8217;s thesis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The prize-winning thesis describes the improvement of a circuit for energy supplies in order to increase their efficiency.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The desired switch from fossil fuels to sustainable alternatives is currently creating a high demand for innovative solutions for power electronic systems. Power electronics ensure the operation of green generators, storage systems and consumers. New components, innovative circuits and modern controls ensure that the energy we need is provided by environmentally friendly means.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Photo: \u00a9
