On May 29, 2024, the students of the game design classes at HTL Spengergasse<\/a> were able to impressively demonstrate their skills at GameFest. More than 20 games developed by the students over the course of the school year were presented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The GameFest took place for the second time this year and was once again very well received. Around 100 people attended the event over the course of the day. UAS Technikum Wien also took part for the first time, represented by Alexander Nimmervoll<\/a> und J\u00fcrgen Konrad<\/a> from the Cloud Services & Security and Software Engineering & Architecture competence fields of the Faculty of Computer Science & Applied Mathematics<\/a>. UAS Technikum participated in the event with \u20ac200 STEAM vouchers, making it one of the three main sponsors of the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Try out games and find out about the courses on offer<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

At UAS Technikum Wien stand, visitors were able to find out about the wide range of courses on offer and try out games developed by students from the Bachelor’s degree program in Computer Science<\/a> and the Master’s degree program in AI Engineering<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The comprehensive information material and game presentations showed the students what opportunities a degree in Game Engineering can open up for them.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event was a complete success with a great atmosphere. We would like to thank the organizing team and HTL Spengergasse for the invitation and are already looking forward to the next GameFest!<\/p>\n\n\n\n
