On June 11, 2024, students from the Bachelor’s degree program in International Business Engineering at UAS Technikum Wien visited the company NXP in Gratkorn. Under the motto “BIW goes NXP”, the participants were given fascinating insights into various business areas and research fields of the company.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Exciting presentations and insights into the laboratories<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The excursion began with informative presentations by employees from the Automotive and Secure Connected Edge business lines and the Competence Center Crypto & Security. Students writing their theses at NXP presented their projects and gave practical insights into their research. The presentations were followed by guided tours of all three labs, during which participants were able to ask questions and gain deeper insights into the work of the experts. The day ended with a cozy buffet where the students could also talk about future career opportunities at NXP. Overall, the excursion was a complete success and offered the students valuable practical experience and networking opportunities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
