This unique high-rise generates more energy than it needs for its operation and use. Thanks to an innovative combination of building-integrated photovoltaics, energy efficiency measures and intelligent use of waste heat, it sets new standards for sustainable construction. The students gained exciting insights into the technical concepts and their practical implementation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-ovl-heading\" data-accent=\"true\" data-tag=\"h2\" data-style-level=\"h4\">Photovoltaic innovation at Matzleinsdorfer Platz<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The group then visited the award-winning PV platform canopy at Matzleinsdorfer Platz. This innovative photovoltaic system serves as a test project for future platform roofs and combines energy generation with functional weather protection.
