In addition to information about the degree program, the semester kickoff for the bachelor’s degree program in Sports Engineering & Ergonomics<\/a> at the beginning of September focused primarily on team-building activities and the actual hackathon. And because the name of the program includes the word \u201csports,\u201d the team building activities were also a bit athletic.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This year, the group visited the Trail Center Hohe Wand Wiese<\/a> and had the opportunity to shoot a few arrows with the team from the Scheiblingstein archery course<\/a>. The students were enthusiastic about both archery and the MTB scavenger hunt. So there was no shortage of fun, but mini-projects were also worked on as part of the hackathon. This included the first \u2018finger exercises\u2019 in sensor technology and biomechanics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the final presentation, the students were able to demonstrate their creativity and existing skills and abilities. “We are already looking forward to deepening, developing, and expanding these during our studies. So: Here’s to the next six semesters,” said Stefan Litzenberger, program director for the Bachelor’s degree in Sports Engineering & Ergonomics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
