At the start of the 2025 winter semester, new students began their studies with the first semester of the dual bachelor’s degree program in hydrogen technology<\/a> at the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien. The training program specifically prepares young people for a central role in the energy transition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The program addresses the diverse technical, ecological, and economic issues surrounding the use of green hydrogen as a sustainable energy source. Through a combination of application-oriented teaching, practical projects, and close networking with industry during four 12-week practical phases, students are empowered to develop innovative solutions for the energy supply of tomorrow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Training for a sustainable future<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

\u201cThe dual bachelor’s degree program in hydrogen technology trains the pioneers of the energy transition\u2014in an application-oriented, practical manner and with a clear mission: to shape the sustainable energy supply of tomorrow,\u201d emphasizes program director Peter Muckenhuber<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In this way, the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien not only contributes to the further development of new technologies, but also makes an important contribution to the qualification of skilled workers who are urgently needed in business and society to shape the future of society.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

UAS Technikum Wien wishes all students a successful start to their studies and lots of energy for the coming years. With their commitment and knowledge, students on this program will make a decisive contribution to harnessing the opportunities offered by hydrogen technology for a climate-neutral future.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
