The published annual report of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.energy.gov\/ea\/national-renewable-energy-laboratory\">NREL (National Renewable Energy Laboratory)<\/a> summarizes the current research priorities and results of the international network, in which experts from ten countries are involved.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Among other things, the focus was on contributions to the further development of international standards for small wind turbines, the integration of wind energy into hybrid energy systems, and the acceptance and site evaluation of decentralized wind power. The University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien represents Austrian interests and contributes its scientific expertise, particularly in the area of social and technical framework conditions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-ovl-heading\" data-accent=\"true\" data-tag=\"h2\" data-style-level=\"h4\">New findings at the international level in the field of acceptance of small wind turbines<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>&#8220;IEA Task 41 has been dealing with the topic of small wind power for several years. The University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien represents Austria&#8217;s interests in this task. This report in the NREL annual report also summarizes the activities of the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien in the IEA Task.
