This field combines energy and building technology with architectural design and plays a crucial role in the energy transition within the building sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-ovl-heading\" data-accent=\"true\" data-tag=\"h2\" data-style-level=\"h4\">Key Focus Areas of the Publication<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>In particular, the publication analyzes the current state of <strong>education and training programs in the field of solar architecture<\/strong> and identifies structural challenges:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Despite technological maturity, BIPV remains only a <strong>niche market (approx. 1\u20133% of the PV market)<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Causes include a lack of interdisciplinary skills, fragmented responsibilities, and insufficient training opportunities<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>At the same time, there is a growing need for qualified professionals who <strong>integrate energy, architecture, and digital planning<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>A key finding is that while existing educational offerings are diverse, they are often <strong>not sufficiently integrated into regular degree programs<\/strong> and are highly fragmented.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-ovl-heading\" data-accent=\"true\" data-tag=\"h2\" data-style-level=\"h4\">Implications for Research and Teaching<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>The findings of the publication provide important impetus for:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the further development of degree programs in the field of <strong>renewable energy and building technology<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the promotion of interdisciplinary competencies across engineering, architecture, and digitalization<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the training of professionals for climate-neutral buildings and cities<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-ovl-heading\" data-accent=\"true\" data-tag=\"h2\" data-style-level=\"h4\">International
