Von 3. \u2013 4. September 2026 fand das 7th World Symposium on Sustainability in Higher Education (WSSD-U-2026) an der Universit\u00e4t Innsbruck statt. Dort versammelten sich internationale Nachhaltigkeitsexpert*innen unter dem Leitthema \u201eFrom Knowledge to Action: Developing Core Competencies in Sustainable Development<\/em>\u201c.

Als Vertreterinnen der FH Technikum Wien durften Christine Bertl<\/strong><\/a> und Jasmin Helnwein<\/strong><\/a> zwei MA23 gef\u00f6rderte Projekte – International Life Science Education (ILSE)<\/strong><\/a> und Systemische Bewertungsmethoden f\u00fcr Technik und Umweltmanagement<\/strong><\/a> \u2013 vertreten. Christine Bertl pr\u00e4sentierte ihr Paper mit dem Titel “Methodological analysis for the implementation of an innovative workshop format to raise awareness of circular economy principles<\/em>“, w\u00e4hrend Jasmin Helnwein ein Poster mit dem Titel \u201eHow to Integrate Life Cycle Thinking and Interdisciplinary Skills in Engineering Courses<\/em>\u201d ausstellte. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Wissenschaft trifft Praxis: Einblick in das Paper<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Im Mittelpunkt Christines Vortrags stand ihr an der FHTW bereits erprobtes Konzept f\u00fcr Workshop-Formate, die ein Umdenken Richtung Kreislaufwirtschaft schaffen sollen. Doch wie kann das bewertet werden? Hierf\u00fcr wurde ein multidimensionales 3-Meta-Cluster-Framework<\/em> zur empirischen Wirkungsmessung pilotiert. Dieses erfasst nicht nur die reine Wissensvermittlung, sondern untersucht ganzheitlich Einstellungs\u00e4nderungen (kognitiv-affektiv), die Steigerung der pers\u00f6nlichen Handlungsbereitschaft (konativ) sowie die Offenheit f\u00fcr zirkul\u00e4re Innovationen und Technologien (kreativ-technologisch).

<\/strong>Die Forschungsarbeit wird in der Buchreihe World Sustainability Series<\/em> bei Springer Nature als Buchkapitel im Werk \u201eFrom Knowledge to Action: Developing Core Competencies in Sustainable Development\u201c erscheinen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

F\u00f6rderung interdisziplin\u00e4rer Kompetenzen: Einblicke in das Poster<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Das Poster von Jasmin Helnwein zeigt die Vorteile von interdisziplin\u00e4rer und systemischer Lehre auf. In einem ersten Konzeptentwurf schl\u00e4gt das Projektteam thematisch \u00fcberschneidende Lehreinheiten in den zwei Master-Studieng\u00e4ngen Renewable Energy Engineering<\/strong><\/a> und Umweltmanagement und \u00d6kotoxikologie<\/strong><\/a> studiengangs\u00fcbergreifend abzuhalten. Durch die Zusammenarbeit von Studierenden unterschiedlicher Disziplinen werden peer-to-peer learning, systemisches und holistisches Denken sowie interdisziplin\u00e4re Zusammenarbeit gef\u00f6rdert.
Die Studierenden k\u00f6nnen somit in einer gemeinsamen Projektarbeit tiefer in die Themen der Lebenszyklusanalyse und Umweltbewertungen eintauchen. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nachhaltiger Nutzen f\u00fcr Internationalisierung<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Der internationale Austausch st\u00e4rkte das Partnerschaftsnetzwerk der FH Technikum Wien im direkten Dialog mit Institutionen wie der HAW Hamburg und der Manchester Metropolitan University. Die Vorstellungen stie\u00df konkrete Austauschprogramme, internationale Praktikumspl\u00e4tze sowie curriculare Abstimmungen an, um zukunftsf\u00e4hige Lehr- und Lernmethoden zu den Themen Kreislaufwirtschaft, Bewertungsmethoden und systemischen Denken direkt im aktiven Lehrbetrieb zu verankern.

Beide Projekte werden gef\u00f6rdert durch die Stadt Wien, MA23 Call 33-01& Call 32-09.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
