Each institution contributes its socio-cultural environment, specific knowledge, strengths and experience, and thus contributes a part to the joint program that offers students a wide range of perspectives. Inputs from both partner institutions help to provide diverse academic experiences and broaden the cultural and professional horizons of their students.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div certificates, i.e. they receive the title of the UAS Technikum Wien (Bachelor\/Master of Science) and the title of the partner institution.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ovl-accordion ovl-accordion\" data-block=\"accordion\" data-question=\"As a graduate of a joint program, am I allowed to use both awarded titles?\" data-short-answer=\"Kurzantwort: \"><div class=\"ovl-accordion__answer\">\n<p>As a graduate of a joint program, you are not entitled to use more than one title but to use them flexibly and thus have access to the respective national labor markets (e.g. the MSc of the UAS Technikum Wien for an application in Austria or the title of the partner institution for an application in the host country). This is an advantage especially for people who want to be internationally mobile in their working lives. The recommendation of ENIC NARIC Austria is that the title awarded in Austria should be used in Austria, the corresponding &#8220;second&#8221; title in the country of the partner institution of the joint program. It is legally permissible for graduates to use one academic degree in one country and the other academic degree in the other country.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ovl-accordion ovl-accordion\" data-block=\"accordion\" data-question=\"What is the procedure for registering academic degrees in joint programs?\" data-short-answer=\"Kurzantwort: \"><div class=\"ovl-accordion__answer\">\n<p>Only one degree may be entered in public documents. (Attention: In Austria, only academic degrees from the EU and EEA countries as well as Switzerland can be registered in public documents but not from third countries).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ovl-accordion ovl-accordion\" data-block=\"accordion\" data-question=\"What is the difference to a classic semester abroad?\" data-short-answer=\"Kurzantwort: \"><div class=\"ovl-accordion__answer\">\n<p>While a semester abroad usually lasts one semester (5 months), a joint program is a curriculum coordinated between the home and host institutions, usually lasting a full academic year. You take advantage of an existing study program abroad and are not responsible for putting together your own courses at the host institution. In addition, a joint program offers students the opportunity to immerse even more intensively in the host country, the university, and the
