Simply send a copy of your disability ID to the degree program office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div style=\"height:30px\" aria-hidden=\"true\" class=\"wp-block-spacer\"><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-ovl-heading\" data-accent=\"true\" data-tag=\"h4\" data-style-level=\"\">Adjustment of exam arrangements<\/h4>\n\n\n\n<p>If you have a medically or clinically-psychologically verifiable study-relevant impairment, you can apply for an adjustment of exam arrangements. It is important that you notify us of your right to reasonable accommodation as soon as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The process is as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>1. Specialist \/ clinical-psychological certificate<\/strong><br>Ask your medical specialist or clinical psychologist to complete the <a href=\"#documents\"><strong>Confirmation of a study-relevant impairment<\/strong><\/a>. Email the document as a PDF to <a href=\"mailto:equality4students@technikum-wien.at?subject=Nachweis%20einer%20Beeintr\u00e4chtigung\">equality4students@technikum-wien.at<\/a> as soon as possible.<br><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>2. Schedule a consultation<\/strong><br>In the consultation (about 20 minutes, on-site or online) we discuss your situation and the framework in order to prepare a recommendation on adjusted exam arrangements for the degree program.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>3. Degree program confirmation<\/strong><br>The degree program decides on the specific selection and implementation of the recommended adjustments and sends you a confirmation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>4. April<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ovl-accordion-light ovl-accordionLight\" data-block=\"accordionlight\" data-question=\"Which languages are accepted for the issued documents?\"><div class=\"ovl-accordionLight__answer\">\n<p>The evidence report you send us must be written in German or English.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ovl-accordion-light ovl-accordionLight\" data-block=\"accordionlight\" data-question=\"How long does it take until a recommendation is issued?\"><div class=\"ovl-accordionLight__answer\">\n<p>After we have discussed your certificate together, we issue the recommendation and forward it to the degree program. This process usually takes 5 working days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ovl-accordion-light ovl-accordionLight\" data-block=\"accordionlight\" data-question=\"Why is a consultation necessary?\"><div class=\"ovl-accordionLight__answer\">\n<p>In the consultation, we aim to understand your situation and the challenges comprehensively, in order to find the support services that enable you to study as barrier-free as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ovl-accordion-light ovl-accordionLight\" data-block=\"accordionlight\" data-question=\"What should I do after receiving the confirmation of my reasonable accommodation?\"><div class=\"ovl-accordionLight__answer\">\n<p>You check the courses of the next semester and their exam arrangements in CIS. Then you choose for which courses and which examinations you require adjustments. Send these to the degree program by email no later than the second week of the semester.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ovl-accordion-light ovl-accordionLight\" data-block=\"accordionlight\" data-question=\"How quickly can adjustments be implemented?\"><div class=\"ovl-accordionLight__answer\">\n<p>Implementing the adjustments is the responsibility of the degree program and it takes some time until the necessary arrangements are in place.
