Nur mit dem Verst\u00e4ndnis f\u00fcr die zugrunde liegenden molekularen Vorg\u00e4nge k\u00f6nnen nachhaltige L\u00f6sungsstrategien entwickelt werden. Der F&amp;E-Schwerpunkt Molecular Life Science Technologies nutzt die Biochemie als Basiswissenschaft molekular- und zellbiologischer Techniken, um L\u00f6sungsans\u00e4tze zu entwickeln.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tissue Engineering erlaubt verletztes bzw. zerst\u00f6rtes Gewebe bei Patienten zu ersetzen, indem im Labor aus gesunden Zellen neues funktionelles Gewebe gez\u00fcchtet wird. In der regenerativen Medizin sind es vor allem Stammzellen, die direkt im K\u00f6rper zur Regeneration angeregt werden. Zellen k\u00f6nnen auch als Biosensoren und Nachweissysteme genutzt werden, um hormonell wirksame Substanzen in der Umwelt nachzuweisen. Die \u00d6kotoxikologie erlaubt durch den Einsatz von Zellen und einfachen Organismen wie Bakterien oder Algen eine Absch\u00e4tzung der Gef\u00e4hrdung durch Chemikalien in der Umwelt. Dabei dienen molekularbiologische Techniken zur Aufkl\u00e4rung der Wirkung der unerw\u00fcnschten Stoffe auf Mensch und Umwelt.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div data-block=\"grid\"
