Fees for Bachelor’s and Master’s programs<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

\n

Tuition fees for Bachelor\u2019s and Master\u2019s degree programs are currently \u20ac 363.36 plus \u20ac 25.20 for the Austrian National Union of Students (\u00d6H) per semester. The amount is invoiced until August 1st or January 15th with a payment term of 14 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


Start of studies:<\/p>\n\n\n\n


A definite confirmation of admission is linked to the payment of a deposit of \u20ac 250, which must be paid within five working days (within seven calendar days) of the conditional offer of admission.
The deposit can be reclaimed up to the deadline of 15 June without giving reasons. If the deposit has been paid or reclaimed after 15 June, it will no longer be refunded.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Note: Any fees, expenses and exchange rate differences will be charged to the applicant and will reduce the refund amount by these.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


The remaining amount (difference to the tuition fee \u20ac 113.36, \u00d6H currently \u20ac 25.20) will be invoiced until August, 1 with a payment deadline of 14 days.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For applicants from third countries, a deposit of \u20ac 250.00 will be charged.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Applicants from third countries are those persons who are citizens of a third country and have fulfilled the relevant admission requirements for studying at the UAS Technikum Wien in a third country. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Third countries are all countries (except Switzerland) that do not belong to the European Union or the European Economic Area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Tuition fees third country students<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n
\n
\n

Tuition fees in the amount of \u20ac 3,000 per semester are applied to students from third countries who have a residence permit according to \u00a7 64 of the Settlement and Residence Act (Niederlassungs- und Aufenthaltsgesetz<\/a>). The following groups of persons are exempt <\/strong>from this regulation (cf. the Ministry’s Ordinance on Groups of Persons<\/a>):<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. <\/strong>Persons who<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– either have had their main residence in Austria for at least five consecutive years immediately prior to the first application for admission to a study program at a higher education institution in Austria<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– or who have at least one legal guardian with whom this is the case.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proof: Current confirmation from the registration office about the regular main residence in Austria during the entire period (extract from the residential registry).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If the requirements are met by a person who is a legal guardian, the following additional proof is required:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– Marriage or birth certificate or<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– proof of co-insurance with the person liable to pay maintenance or<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

– other proof that proves the obligation to support the applicant.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. <\/strong>Persons who enjoy privileges and immunities in Austria on the basis of treaty or legal provisions, as well as persons who are abroad on behalf of the Republic of Austria at the time of acquisition of the matriculation certificate and enjoy privileges and immunities there on the basis of treaty or legal provisions, as well as their spouses and registered partners and their children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proof: diplomat card etc. in copy<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

3. <\/strong>Foreign journalists accredited in Austria and working here full-time as well as their spouses or registered partners and their children.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proof: Copy of accreditation certificate and, if applicable, marriage certificate, birth certificate, certificate of registered partnership.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

<\/p>\n\n\n\n

4. <\/strong>Persons who receive a scholarship for the intended studies either on the basis of state treaty provisions or in the same amount from the funds of an Austrian territorial authority which, according to the financial regulations of this territorial authority, are expressly to be used for scholarships.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Proof: Letter of award of the scholarship.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

5. <\/strong>Holders of secondary school leaving certificates from Austrian schools abroad.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

6<\/strong>. Persons who have obtained their highest school or university degree relevant to their application<\/p>\n\n\n\n
