{"id":55395,"date":"2024-03-20T07:25:25","date_gmt":"2024-03-20T07:25:25","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/content.technikum-wien.at\/?page_id=55395"},"modified":"2025-09-08T09:15:36","modified_gmt":"2025-09-08T09:15:36","slug":"conditions-of-participation-30-years","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/content.technikum-wien.at\/en\/conditions-of-participation-30-years\/","title":{"rendered":"Conditions of participation &#8211; 30 years"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<div data-block=\"grid\" data-is-swiper=\"false\" data-columns=\"1\" data-bg-color=\"#F1F1F1\" data-vertical-alignment=\"start\" data-horizontal-alignment=\"start\" data-gap=\"s\" data-padding-top=\"2rem\" data-padding-bottom=\"2rem\" data-small-grid=\"false\" class=\"wp-block-ovl-grid\">\n<div data-block=\"grid-column\" class=\"wp-block-ovl-grid-column\">\n<h1 class=\"wp-block-ovl-heading\" data-accent=\"true\" data-tag=\"h1\" data-style-level=\"\"><strong>Conditions of participation for the &#8220;30 years of Change our Tomorrow&#8221; competition<\/strong><\/h1>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div data-block=\"grid\" data-is-swiper=\"false\" data-columns=\"1\" data-bg-color=\"transparent\" data-vertical-alignment=\"start\" data-horizontal-alignment=\"start\" data-gap=\"s\" data-padding-top=\"2rem\" data-padding-bottom=\"2rem\" data-small-grid=\"false\" class=\"wp-block-ovl-grid\">\n<div data-block=\"grid-column\" class=\"wp-block-ovl-grid-column\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Eligible to participate<\/strong> are<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>all students and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>employees of the UAS Technikum Wien,<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the Technikum Wien Gmbh and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>all external lecturers employed as such during the competition period and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>all graduates of Bachelor&#8217;s and Master&#8217;s degree programs and Master&#8217;s courses.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>competition period<\/strong> covers the period from March 21, 2024 to April 8, 2024 at 11:59 p.m. All entries received by then via the online entry form will be considered.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participation is only possible by filling out the German or English<strong> participation form <\/strong>on the website of UAS Technikum Wien, including uploading or providing a video contribution.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participation in the competition is only possible under the <strong>conditions <\/strong>listed here. By participating, participants expressly accept these conditions of participation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">By providing the <strong>data for participation<\/strong> in the competition, the participants agree to the processing of the personal data provided (name, e-mail) for the purpose of conducting the competition. This consent can be revoked at any time by sending an email to <a href=\"mailto:marcom@techinkum-wien.at\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">marcom@techinkum-wien.at<\/a>. With a revocation, the participants automatically withdraw their participation in the competition. The participants themselves are responsible for the accuracy and completeness of the data provided.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In addition, the participants agree that the <strong>video<\/strong> provided by them may be published in full or in a version shortened by UAS Technikum Wien on the website, the social media channels and the YouTube channel of UAS Technikum Wien and shown at events of UAS Technikum Wien.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Participation in the competition is voluntary. <strong>Any costs <\/strong>incurred by participants as a result of taking part are non-refundable.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien accepts no<strong> liability <\/strong>for any damage, loss, injury or disappointment suffered by participants as a result of preparing to take part, taking part in the competition or accepting a prize.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>selection of videos <\/strong>for the final compilation is the responsibility of the Marketing &amp; Communications department of UAS Technikum Wien in consultation with the management.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All participants whose video is included in the final compilation will be considered <strong>winners<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The winners will be <strong>notified<\/strong> by UAS Technikum Wien and will each receive a <strong>voucher<\/strong> from Wunschgutschein GmbH worth 300 euros as a <strong>prize<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">All winners will also be invited by UAS Technikum Wien to a <strong>trip<\/strong> to the CERN research center in Switzerland by the end of 2024 at the latest. The invitation and date will also be sent by e-mail. Up to <strong>eight <\/strong>winners will have their travel expenses and accommodation paid for as part of this trip. Places are reserved for the first eight participants who accept the invitation by e-mail.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A <strong>cash payment<\/strong>, payment in other material assets or exchange of the prize &#8211; both voucher and travel participation &#8211; is not possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the event of a <strong>breach<\/strong> of these conditions of participation or the provision of false personal data, the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien reserves the right to exclude persons from the competition.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <strong>organizer <\/strong>of the competition is the University of Applied Sciences Technikum Wien, H\u00f6chst\u00e4dtplatz 6, 1200 Vienna.
