Ziel ist es, physiologische Prozesse realit\u00e4tsnah abzubilden, komplexe Wechselwirkungen analysierbar zu machen und innovative Ans\u00e4tze f\u00fcr Forschung, Entwicklung und Lehre zu schaffen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In den Studieng\u00e4ngen Bachelor Biomedical Engineering (BBE), Master Gesundheits- und Rehabilitationstechnik (MGR) sowie Master Medical Engineering &amp; eHealth (MME) erwerben Studierende vertiefte Kompetenzen in Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD), Modellierung, Training von Modellen mittels Machine Learning und K\u00fcnstlicher Intelligenz sowie im Einsatz von Extended Reality (XR). Neben <strong>numerischen Verfahren<\/strong> kommen <strong>physische und digitale Simulationsmodelle<\/strong> zum Einsatz, die sowohl f\u00fcr Forschung als auch in der Lehre genutzt werden.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Durch enge Kooperationen mit medizinischen Einrichtungen, Forschungspartnern und Industrieunternehmen entstehen praxisnahe Forschungs- und Entwicklungsprojekte. Ein zentrales Ziel ist es, das Verst\u00e4ndnis der Funktionsweise des kardio-pulmonalen Systems zu vertiefen, neue Methoden zur <strong>Testung und Bewertung von Therapien<\/strong> \u2013 insbesondere bei Atemwegserkrankungen \u2013 zu entwickeln und innovative Trainings- und Bildungswerkzeuge bereitzustellen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ein herausragendes Beispiel ist der an der FH Technikum Wien entwickelte <strong>elektromechanische Lungensimulator xPULM<sup>(TM)<\/sup><\/strong>. Optical Applications an der FH Technikum Wien besch\u00e4ftigt sich mit medizinischer <strong>Bildgebung<\/strong> und technologischen Anwendungen in der <strong>medizinischen Optik<\/strong>.
