Blended learning means an ideal combination of online and in-person teaching, with well-coordinated units. In other words, alongside the time spent with the lecturer, there is also a significant amount of self-study (usually online). This allows the two worlds to be optimally combined. Those who study along the way are better prepared for the exams. I am interested in studying at UAS Technikum Wien.\" data-short-answer=\"Kurzantwort: \"><div class=\"ovl-accordion__answer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On the website of UAS Technikum Wien, you will find the information about the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.technikum-wien.at\/en\/degree-programs\/\">study programmes<\/a> as well as all the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.technikum-wien.at\/en\/student-guide\/\">information needed for your study application(s)<\/a>. The staff of the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.technikum-wien.at\/en\/infocenter\/\">InfoCenter<\/a> provide individual guidance, help you navigate the available study programmes, and clarify any uncertainties in the application process. Once you have chosen a study programme, you can check on the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.technikum-wien.at\/en\/student-guide\/requirements\/\">requirements<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.technikum-wien.at\/en\/document-check\/\">necessary documents<\/a> for admission to that programme. After that, the application is submitted through the <a href=\"https:\/\/cis.technikum-wien.at\/addons\/bewerbung\/cis\/registration.php\">online application tool.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">You can apply for up to three study programmes at the same time. To do this, you must prioritise them according to your interests.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Applications for bachelor&#8217;s degree programs can be submitted from fall until the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.technikum-wien.at\/en\/student-guide\/admission-deadlines\/\">application deadline<\/a>. The application process for the Bachelor\u00b4s programmes is carried out via a secure website and the registration system allows you to start the application and complete it later. Once your eligibility has been verified, you can select a date for the<a href=\"https:\/\/www.technikum-wien.at\/en\/student-guide\/fit-uas\/\"> online placement test<\/a> which is a multiple-choice test at school-leaving (Matura) level. The tests take place from February to June and are supervised via Zoom. The placement test can only be taken once per academic year and is valid for all selected Bachelor\u2019s programmes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">For a Master\u2019s programme, the application is also carried out through the <a href=\"https:\/\/cis.technikum-wien.at\/addons\/bewerbung\/cis\/registration.php\">online application tool<\/a>. The admission procedure consists of a subject-specific online placement test (also supervised via Zoom) and an interview with the relevant programme director. Since it is a subject-specific placement test, a separate test must be taken for each Master\u2019s programme. Further information will be provided by the study programme assistant after a successful application.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ovl-accordion ovl-accordion\" data-block=\"accordion\" data-question=\"2. I have received confirmation that I am accepted to the study programme.\" data-short-answer=\"Kurzantwort: \"><div class=\"ovl-accordion__answer\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.technikum-wien.at\/en\/student-guide\/admissions-process\/\">admission process<\/a> is thereby completed. From this point onwards, the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.technikum-wien.at\/en\/infocenter\/\">InfoCenter<\/a>, which advises prospective students and handles the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.technikum-wien.at\/en\/student-guide\/admissions-process\/\">admission process<\/a> and the placement test for bachelor&#8217;s students, is no longer responsible. Instead, your programme assistant will take over these tasks. For master&#8217;s programmes, the programme assistant remains the contact person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The study programme assistant, who is also the administrative assistant to your programme director, manages the degree programme and supports the programme director in organising teaching and learning activities. They are an important contact person for all matters related to your study programme. You will receive emails from them containing all essential information as well as the request to pay the tuition fee. If you would like to know in advance, who your programme assistant will be, you can find this information on the homepage of your selected study programme or in the signature of your admission message.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">An overview of all study programmes can be found here: <a href=\"https:\/\/www.technikum-wien.at\/studium\/\">https:\/\/www.technikum-wien.at\/studium\/<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Here you will also find the name of your programme director. The programme director manages the programme and makes decisions on academic and study-related matters.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-ovl-accordion ovl-accordion\" data-block=\"accordion\" data-question=\"3. Follow the steps on this sheet carefully to complete the activation.
