Through the development and implementation of targeted measures, the project addresses current challenges of the Internationalization Strategy 2025 of the UAS Technikum Wien &#8211; in particular the increase of student and staff mobility, the provision of new internationalization activities for different faculties and study programs as well as the intensification of cooperation with international partner universities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Specifically, the project Inclusion International develops and applies didactic concepts that transfer existing results from R&amp;D projects in the field of ICT-based assistive technologies (AT) into international teaching and learning formats. Special emphasis is placed on teaching practical skills and abilities, and materials and kits are made available so that functional AT modules can be produced in project-based teaching modules, which are then made available to international partner organizations as open source hardware and software, allowing people with disabilities to benefit directly from the project results.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><br>Together with the four partner universities &#8211; Czech Technical University Prague (Czech Republic), Ss. Cyril and Methodius University Skopje (Northern Macedonia), Waterford Institute of Technology (Ireland) and Transilvania University of Bra\u0219ov (Romania), the following measures will be implemented in the course of the project:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Workshops and guest lectures at international stakeholders with different target groups (students\/teachers from partner universities, companies\/care institutions, users).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Further development of &#8220;Internationalization at Home&#8221; concepts as well as expansion and increased use of existing online learning platforms and e-learning cooperations (<a href=\"https:\/\/hub.studyathome.technikum-wien.at\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">e-Learning-Sharing Hub<\/a>).<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Targeted R&amp;D activities (see <strong><a href=\"#open-source-at\">Open Source Assistive Tools<\/a><\/strong>) to further develop the practical modules and transfer contemporary content into teaching (especially into teaching concerning accessibility of digital systems and the Internet-of-Things)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The project will also plan, implement and execute the following <strong>educational formats<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-ovl-heading\" data-accent=\"true\" data-tag=\"h2\" data-style-level=\"\">ASSIST HEIDI Course<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.technikum-wien.at\/en\/course-assist-heidi\/\">ASSIST HEIDI course<\/a> is held regularly and organised as a project-based course for the UAS Technikum Wien International Campus, with the aim of promoting international teams of Erasmus+ and UASW TW students. Student teams work alongside people with disabilities to co-design and implement assistive tools.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-ovl-heading\" data-accent=\"true\" data-tag=\"h2\" data-style-level=\"\">ASSIST HEIDI Summer School<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.technikum-wien.at\/en\/assist-heidi-summer-school-2025\">ASSIST HEIDI Summer School 2025\u2013 International Summer School for Accessible Gaming<\/a> was held in July 2025.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Please have a look at the webpage for Fotos, Videos and class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.technikum-wien.at\/en\/hackathon\/\">International Accessibility Hackathon<\/a> was held with students of the Iowa-State University (USA) at Technikum Wien in May 2024.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-ovl-heading\" id=\"open-source-at\" data-accent=\"true\" data-tag=\"h2\" data-style-level=\"\">Open Source Assistive Tools<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p
