They contribute to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and support national and European climate goals. Participants benefit from internal energy prices, reduced network tariffs, and increased revenues from the sale of surplus energy. Additionally, energy communities strengthen social cohesion and promote technological innovations as well as new business models.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The ISEG project aims to develop an interoperable interface specification for energy communities to ensure efficient collaboration among stakeholders. It defines reference processes and derives recommendations for the legal framework. Furthermore, existing test environments will be further developed to support the integration and interoperability of systems. The possibilities are diverse and adapted to the different circumstances of the students: from excursions lasting several days to semesters abroad, from acting as an International Buddy for others to writing the Bachelor thesis in English.
